Welcome to Sakura Japanese Class
Thank you very much for your interest in our Japanese language program.
Sakura Japanese Class is a language immersion class that accepts any students (with or without Japanese background) who are interested in learning Japanese.
Our curriculums are designed to make learning Japanese and improving each student's individual Japanese level through engaging and intriguing lessons.
We create an immersive Japanese environment for our students by only speaking in Japanese. In each lesson we introduce and teach Japanese to our students through class activities, singing, reading, crafts, and musical rhythms incorporating Japanese yearly events, customs and tradition.
Each class session is 2 hours long and we offer both AM morning classes and PM afternoon classes. We require any prospective and interested students to attend our trial lesson. Class level and times will be recommended depending on each student's ability and readiness which is best discussed after the trial lesson. We offer these trial lessons to students who are or about to turn 3 years old and up. For older students who attend preschool or other curriculums in the morning, we recommend our afternoon classes (Honolulu location only).
Anyone who has tried to learn a new language understands that it is very hard to learn a second language without constant exposure and practice.
Therefore we strongly recommended our students to take at least 2 classes a week. Each class curriculum is different, changing day to day, but also incorporating reviewing and repetition on what they have learned in previous classes so that the new knowledge is retained and built upon.
Currently there is a wait for scheduling the trial lesson as well as we limit one trial lesson per student per day. For those who are interested, please email sakurajapaneseclass@gmail.com with the information below as soon as possible so that we can schedule the trial lesson for your child.
